Description
Psyllium husk is the outer coating (or husk) of the seeds from the Plantago ovata plant, native to India and parts of the Mediterranean. It’s a natural, soluble fiber known for its high absorbency and gel-forming ability when mixed with water.
It helps form a gel-like texture in cosmetics and can mildly buff away dead skin.
It is used to naturally lift off dry, flaky skin when mixed with clay or yogurt.
