Description
Kojic Acid Dipalmitate (KAD), a diesterified derivative of Kojic Acid, is considered to be superior to Kojic Acid due to its whitening and more stability p(in heat and light with no colour change) property. KAD inhibit tyrosinase activity, hence, it is capable of suppressing mealanin formation and skin pigmentation.
It is effective in whitening dark skin, or areas of dark skin. and has synergistic effect with glucosamine derivatives like N-Acetyl Glucosamine (NAG).
Usage: 1-5%
Solubility: Heated Oil at 80-85oC
pH: 4-9

Tip: It does not give clear solubility but an emulsion-like as it can precipitate after heating. It is recommended to add Isopropyl Palmitate or Isopropyl Myristate with thorough shaking before use
