Ferulic acid

Ferulic acid is a strong antioxidant agent found in the leaves and seeds of most plants such as seeds of oranges, and especially in high concentrations in the brans of grasses such as rice, wheat and oats.

Its useful properties in the formulation of anti-aging cosmetics include;

Ability to protect overall skin integrity by reducing the development of fine lines, spots, and wrinkles.

Its synergistic potential with other antioxidants especially vitamin C and E,

The ability to prevent damages to skin cells caused by ultraviolet light, reduces inflammation and has anti-irritant properties.

Raises the SPF level of sunscreens
