Butylene glycol aka 1.3-Butanediol, is an organic humectant with conditioning, solubilizing, emollience, moisturizing and antimicrobial properties for skin and hair.
It is an excellent penetration enhancer and can be used as a solvent to dissolve actives.
Usage: 1-10%
