Benzoyl peroxide is an antimicrobial and antiseptic agent that helps to clear acne and prevent breakouts.
It removes dead skin cells and declogs pores.
Benzoyl peroxide is not compatible with a lot of actives as it can facilitate and increase oxidation.
Benzoyl peroxide is known to cause dryness. This makes hyaluronic acid and niacinamide perfect partner as they allows benzoyl peroxide to work all its magic while keeping the skin hydrated.
Do pair benzoyl peroxide with any peeling agents such as salicylic acid, resorcinol, salicylic acid, sulfur, or tretinoin, vitamin C, to avoid skin irritation.
Usage: 2.5-10%
Solubility: Organic solvents including propylene glycol, propanediol, DMI
