Description
BTMS 50 is a small, white, waxy bead. It is a highly concentrated cationic emulsifying wax that works at low usage levels, producing ideal hair conditioning properties.
It is a blend of Cetearyl Alcohol and Behentrimonium Methosulfate, active at 50%.
BTMS 50 is primarily used in formulations for its conditioning properties. It can emulsify, thicken, and boost emollients and formulations.
It is a fantastic option for producing lotion because of its capacity to produce stable emulsions, its skin-conditioning qualities, and its softness
pH: 5-7
Melting point: 60°C (140°F).
Solubility: Heated oil phase
Usage rate. 1–15% of the overall product; ~20–25% of the oil phase to emulsify.
